What the heck does that even mean?

We believe technology is insanely awesome and has the power to change the world for the better. We also understand that the human spirit can feel crushed by the rapid pace of change that new technologies bring with them. We put maximum effort toward reconciling those two things by working from a simple set of core values.

Our Values

1. Tech that doesn't actually help people in the real world isn't worth building.
2. Simpler (user-friendly design) is better.
3. Curiosity is king, and listening is a superpower.
4. Change is the only constant, but a well-thought-out and well-executed system can have serious staying power.
5. Be nice to computers (build with love) and they'll be nice back.
6. Money is great and everything, but only when everyone involved feels like they got a fair shake.
7. Drink more water (*humans only).

QM was founded by Mark Warren Jacques. He's not your traditional tech bro. Mark spent two decades building a successful career as an artist, but technology has never been a second act. He's a lifelong nerd, engineer, and award-winning inventor. He approaches technical problems with an artist's eye and an engineer's discipline. First principles can get you most of the way. The rest takes heart, intuition, and soul.
